Official: Russian govt fails to pay for 7.5 bln rbl of purchases
YEKATERINBURG, Oct 16 (PRIME) -- The Russian government has not paid 7.5 billion rubles on time for goods and services, Prosecutor General Yury Chaika said at a meeting on businessmen rights protection Friday.
“According to data of prosecutors, debts to the corporate sector stand at almost 7.5 billion rubles,” Chaika said.
Sometimes, it takes a court order for a businessman to receive the payments, he said.
He said that the government mostly meet the new regulations giving quotas and preferences in purchases to small companies
